The Admission Process Associate plays a key role in Derrick Jones Management Pvt Ltd with students seeking higher education programs in international countries. She/he advises students on courses and universities in various countries, admission requirements, etc., based on the student’s qualifications and aspirations.

Derrick Jones Management has a seperate Team for counselling where the student is counselled and the file is hand over to the admissions department to process the admissions application by creating a strong SOP and gathering or checking all documents.

To enable the provision of sound advice to students, the Admission Process Associate is expected to be updated on:

1. The courses/programs being offered at various universities & colleges,

2. the application, travel & living requirements in identified countries, and

3. Derrick Jones management’s well-established relationships and offerings

She/he is expected to execute related processes and achieve desired quality standards, service levels, and timelines.

Responsibilities

1. Understand aspirations, interests, and background of students; Conduct detailed profile assessment of students interested in studying in the International universities

2. Advises / Counsels students regarding courses, universities/colleges in various countries, admission requirements, fee structure, scholarships, etc., and assist in shortlisting courses and universities that fit the student’s profile

3. Responsible for completing the application process for the student with the universities/colleges. Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders, as may be required, for timely submission and follow-up.

4. Respond to inquiries about academic programs and the admissions process to students/parents via phone, e-mail, and in-person

5. Advises students and families regarding educational opportunities and options, admission and other requirements, policies, and procedures.

6. Review application files to ensure compliance with admission policies

7. Assist students with the process for arranging travel and finances, as may be required.

8. Advise students in resolving their queries and other problems, that may arise in the application and joining process

9. Responsible for maintaining all information/documents and updating CRM, as required

10. Perform other duties as assigned by the Managing Director

Job requirements

1) Minimum 1-2 years of work experience required.

2) Able to demonstrate integrity, professionalism, civility, and a high degree of ethics in all job-related actions.

3) Excellent oral and written communication skills, with command over spoken and written English as well as the local language

4) Ability to analyze and solve problems and to make evaluative judgments.

5) Ability to be detail-oriented

6) Energetic, personable, and team-player

7) Skill in the use of personal computers and related software applications.

8) Compassionate and Good interpersonal skills

9) Excellent problem resolution skills and logical thinking

10) Knowledge of the broad spectrum of available university academic units, curricula, and programs.

11) Ability to maintain a high degree of confidentiality
